Hi everyone, this is my first post and I have two questions I hope someone
can help with.

First: One of our ferrets has recently gotten what appears to our vet to be
"hot spots" three times in as many weeks. These sores/scabby areas heal
very quickly and do not seem to cause any pain or itching that we can tell.
Our vet has suggested that they are stress-induced, however, we have been
unable to determine any change that could cause this. Has anyone else had
a similar experience?

Second: Can anyone give us advice on resources for starting a ferret
shelter?

Thanks for any help,
Dave, Sherry, Bubba-dog, Chat-cat, Abigail-goat, Barneygirl-duck, and our
slinky gang: Pink Nose, Jilly, Bink, BamBam, and SlinkyDinkyDo.
