Skeeter, there's going to be a ferret coming your way soon who could really
use a warm welcome to the bridge.
 
Pheonix was a very sick ferret when she was returned to the pet store she
was purchased from.  when the store refused to pay for vet bills, one of
the staff took her home and took her to the vet herself.  after being
thought dead three times, and receiving two blood transfusions, Pheonix
could finally go home, where she ate as much food as she could cram down,
and her new friend started to try to find her a permanent home.
tragically, the day before her final vet appointment, Pheonix went to sleep
and didn't wake up.  she was only 5 months old, and she was sick for a long
time, but at the rainbow bridge she can run and play like a healthy ferret,
or so i hope, and maybe she'll even get to meet an owner who can keep her
forever.
 
oh, just so you can recognise her, Skeeter, Pheonix was a dark eyed white
with a few silver hairs.
