I must agree with the person that said she's taken a comatose ferret into a
church for prayer.I have too.When Lil Britches somehow got outside one
night,right after I got her,a stray cat attacked her.The neighbors woke me
at 1am to tell me that my dewpaw was out.With sleep in my brain,I said I
don't have a dewpaw,don't know what one is.He begged me to come see.(I
lived in a MEAN neighberhood)So,I went outside,& there was Lil.I brought
her in,ssaw blood,woke my son to help me clean it.Called the only vet to
see fuzzies,he's not there.Other vet says to bring her in to remove her
legg.Sight unsee.Said it'd be 600.00.I called my dad whose a minister,asked
for prayer to keep her alive until the other vet with some sense would be
in about 7am.My son & I took a popsicle stk,set her leg as best we could.
Dr Duke saw her as soon as he opened.Reset her leg(said I'd done it right)
as I didn't make a cast.She was put on meds.1 wk later she was feverish
bad.again I called for prayer.She made it.The infectoin caused her paw to
rot,so we ended up taking her leg off.Thru this all the vet said he didn't
think she'd make it.Prayer brought her back.She's been fine for 1 1/2 yrs
now.I've been a believer.And now I have Ferri-lu whose going in for double
adernal next wk.I've asked for prayers.
