I tried to send the above to you direct after your first post, maybe it
didn't get to you.  If you want to call them, why not buy one of those
pre-paid phone cards available in grocery and convenience stores?  They
come as cheap as $5 with a set number of minutes of long distance on them.
If Houston is long distance for you, maybe you could supply a more exact
location so we could help you find out if there are closer shelters?
