Hi all,
May 2, 1999 - May 8, 1999 is the AVMA's 19th annual National Pet Week and
the theme for this year is "Taking Care of Each Other".
So in honor of this theme - I ask all of you interested in adding a ferret
or another ferret to your family - please consider "taking care" of a lost
sole from a shelter. There are many wonderful pets that are looking for
new homes all of the world that are currently in a shelter.
The following are the ferrets currently in our shelter:
Jills
Snow White - Albino MF 1-2 year old. Gets along great with other ferrets,
dogs, cats, and kids. Can be a face nipper if you don't watch out!
Altered & descented.
Misty - Very feminine 2-3 year old dark silver with a jet-black nose.
Smart and sweet, as well as beautiful. Gets along well with other ferrets
after her alpha status is established. Pairs well with Jughead. Altered.
Summer - Pretty sable 1-2 year old. She is shy, but very sweet. Gets
along well with other ferrets. Pairs well with Mister. Altered.
Missy - 1-2 year old roan chocolate/silver mitt. She is a smart little gal
that can be a little mouthy. Does not get along well with other ferrets.
Altered.
Kari - Beautiful dark silver badger (blaze) that is deaf. She is a 1-2
year old that has a very sweet nature and beautiful face. Gets along ok
with other ferrets. Her deafness puts her on the defense combined with a
semi-alpha attitude. Altered.
Hobs
Jughead - 2-3 year old light silver/chocolate roan (hard to tell as he is
really yellow still). A very sweet and gentle ferret that gets along well
with others. He is working on building his muscle tone back. Pairs well
with Misty. Altered.
Mister - 1-2 year old silver badger (blaze) - probably Kari's brother. He
is not deaf and is a very sweet boy. Gets along well with other ferrets.
Pairs well with Summer. Altered.
Dakota - 1-2 year old sable mitt wannabe. He is an escape artist and very
inquisitive. He gets along well with others. Altered.
