Hi everyone, I love this thread, both on how you all named your ferrets,
but also Bob Church's on what his ferrets call him. Here's both sets of
mine:
Jasmine - She's the first I fuzzy I got of my own, and she received her
name because she was so tiny and sweet in nature, and Jasmine just seemed
to fit this beautiful, sociable little girl perfectly. Her main nickname
is Sweet Pea. And, in turn, Jasmine calls me Big Dooker. :)
Casey - I acquired her from my boyfriend, who actually named her K.C.; I
switched the spelling to Casey because I liked it better. Her main
nickname is Casemeister or Head Case (she's a bit of a psychofert). Casey
calls me Ankle-licious. :)
Samantha, a.k.a. Sam, Sammy and Sammers - I named her Samantha simply
because I always wanted a pet named Samantha. :-D More often than not, I
call her Sammers or Sam. Occasionally Stealthy-Sammy (she's my big thief -
of objects and hearts!) Sam calls me Ladder Legs or The Great Treat
Provider.
Daisy - I named her because she looks like a Daisy - a beautiful black-eyed
white fuzzkid. However, her personality is much more like a Scarlett
O'Ferret so I sometimes call her that too. And Slinky 'cuz she's so skinny
and Turbo 'cuz she also moves at nothing but warp speed. :-) Daisy would
simply call me Entertainment.
So there you go! I would love to hear about more origins for ferret names
and what they call you too...
Hugs to the furbabes everywhere - Jen, Jasmine, Casey, Samantha and Daisy
