I've noticed something odd that happens when Dervish eats Bandits ferret
treats (soft, meaty little treats; they come in the yellow carton with the
cowboy fert on them). I don't know if she's just snorking them down
without chewing or what, but when they <ahem> come out the other end, there
are intact chunks of Bandit ferret treat in her poopies. The chunks are
about the size of a chocolate chip.
She hasn't shown any signs of discomfort while "in the corner", so it
doesn't seem like it's affecting her adversely. When she was younger, she
had a problem with wolfing her food down and choking on it. I'm wondering
if there's a connection.
Has anyone else experienced this? Should I be worried? Or should I just
start pre-chewing her ferret treats for her from now on? :-)
