Thanks to the message on the Ferret List, we were able to go to California,
Maryland, and adopt the male and female duo that needed a home. According
to the pet shop Their owner had to give them up due to a move, and felt
very bad about it. The pet store couldn't get them to eat anything. We
brought ferretvite which they took eagerly, and both were nibbling regular
food on the way home. They are skinny, but with nice coats, and once they
are settled should do well. We are grateful for the opportunity to give
them a permanent home, as we feel its our mission to take in unwanted
ferrets, and it gives us joy to nurture them and see them thrive.
