Location: Long-term-stay Motel Room on 2nd Floor.
Compound Invaded by: Maintenance Personnel while Parents of Pet
(POP) away from secured perimeter.
Devious Enemy Plot: Drilled hole in wall under kitchen cabinet.
Escape Hatch: The hole, silly.
Health Risks for FLO Operative: Starvation, Injury.
Health Risks for POP: Heart failure, Ulcers, Premature aging.
Reconnaissance: Tuesday evening through Saturday morning.
Final Status: Hungry. Found inbetween 1st & 2nd floors.

The owner's were lucky to find their ferret alive.
I've read this type of ferret adventure before over the years on the FML -
a fert escapes through hole around plumbing in kitchen or bath cabinets,
namely in apartments. Please ferret-proof your cabinets or, at least,
visually check for holes within the cabinets. Never underestimate a
ferret. The general rule is...where their head will fit through, their
body will follow.
