the half dozen boxes or so that are in my office floor at any given time.
My mother moans at my terrible house keeping because there are ALWAYS rice
and bits of Kleenx in my floor ("I spent all day decorating the floor, now

15ct camera's. If any of the shelter's would like some to take pictures
of their ferret's let me know.

Yes, we were all surprised. I am a refunder and the offer I sent for had
no camera's left. Then ordered more and I ended up with 120+ camera's and
128 $2 coupons off of fuji film. [...]40_22Dec199923:22:[log in to unmask] 9912 32912 21 12_Introduction11_Trish [log in to unmask], 22 Dec 1999 02:48:31 EST541_- Hello. I have been an avid reader of the list for about a year now, but I
don't think I have ever posted. My name is Trish Moore and I live in
Tacoma Washington with my three monsters. I have had ferrets since I
became an "addict" in 1987. I currently attend the University of
Washington and will be graduating in June and then hopefully going on to
graduate school in the fall. I have to keep going if I ever hope to get a
job that earns enough to keep the ferrets living in the high class manner
they [...]38_22Dec199902:48:[log in to unmask] 9912 32934 22 [log in to unmask], 22 Dec 1999 09:25:08 -0500447_- Day late-Dollar short. Story of my life, but I thought maybe I could
squeeze in under the wire.

We are Kris and Mary Mewton. We reside in Warren, Michigan and run
MKARESQ. (the shelter no-one can pronounce). At the present time we have
43 fuzzies in our care. We also have 13 personals. This keeps us pretty
busy. I do no post a lot, but I consider the FML my "morning paper". Must
read before I go to work. [...]41_22Dec199909:25:[log in to unmask] 9912 32957 23 [log in to unmask], 23 Dec 1999 17:53:54 -0000517_- Hello all - I'm Melissa, and I live in St. Louis, MO with 2 ferrets,
Mishka (3 1/2 year old male 4 1/4 lb DEW - private breeder) and Buttons
(2 1/2 silver mitt 1 lb MF). Although I have owned ferrets since 1993, I
think that Mishka and Buttons will probably be my last for a while. Like
so many other people on this list, I've had a hard year, losing 2 of my 4
exactly 6 months apart. Perhaps I'm a weak person, but I just can't bear
to bring home any more of these darling children, knowing [...]41_23Dec199917:53:[log in to unmask] 9912 32981 15 26_New FML Member Intro-PA/DE14_Cari E. [log in to unmask], 22 Dec 1999 13:17:51 -0500547_- Hi my name is Cari and I am from DELAWARE, but am attending Pharmacy School
in Philadelphia. I joined the FML about 2 days ago. I have 3 fuzzies as
of right now, but am adopting a new fuzzy tonight. I have a 1.5y/o sable
male, 7month old champagne angora female, and a 4.5y/o chocolate female.
They are the sunshine of my days and nights. I would just like to say
that I think the FML is a great learning tool for new ferret owners and
communication link for all. Thanks and Happy Holidays to fuzzies and
friends. Cari [...]37_22Dec199913:17:[log in to unmask] 9912 32997 49 13_Introductions13_Marsha S

Hello everyone,

I just heard from a friend of mine that The Ferret Calendar was featured in
the Oregonian's Living section on pets. Apparently it is the favorite pet
calendar of the writer and my friend is working on getting me a copy. I
kind of found out by accident so I thought Id write to the FML to ask you
if you happen to see something good (or bad-- hope there's not too much
in that category) about The Ferret Calendar in your local paper could you
please send us a copy.

I don't do any PR with the media so I have no clue when something's going
to be written about the calendar so my friend assumed I knew all about it
when I had no idea that the calendar would me mentioned let alone singled
out! I did receive a call from Steve Dale (My Pet World?) who does a
national column on pets. He apparently also reviews pet calendars and my
understanding is that The Ferret Calendar is to be included in a column
appearing in the next week or so. If anyone out there sees the column, and
The Ferret Calendar made the grade would you please send a copy to me at
the address below?

Thanks so much.

Also, on another matter, my father and I will be flying to Long Beach
(southern CA) to testify in front of the Fish and Game Commission on ferret
legalization. I would like to briefly tell the commission what ferrets
mean to their owners. If you would please write a very, very short note to
me letting me know why you've chosen ferrets as pets and what they add to
your life, I would appreciate it. I'd like to be able to use you name and
address-- if you are from CA, just put your first name and last initial and
city.

Thanks so much and I wish all the FMLers and their fuzzies a happy and safe
holiday.

Sincerely,
