I believe someone wrote today that many of us buy supplies from PETCO. I
surely do not. I purchased a magazine there, and saved Chewy, who had
crusted runny eyes, fever, and hoarse breathing. When PETCO first came
to our area, they had unbelievably low prices for about 2 years. They
drove many small pet stores out of business. Once they had destroyed their
competition, their prices soared. Around here, they are WAY over priced.
I never make my purchases from a place that sells ferts unless it is to
feed the ferts at that store because they are not being cared for. I used
to buy everything I could from Mary at F.A.I.R. But she has a lot in
storage right now.
Is there a shelter near me that sells Ferrevite and Ferrebite? If you have
fresh product, and it has a shelf life of a year- I would like a case of
both of these.
There is G.C.F.A. in Illinois, but they can almost never even manage to
get me my newsletter. I get maybe 2 a year after numerous calls. I
truly believe that it is just me since they tell me i paid for years of
membership and this doesn't show on their computer. But I personally feel
upset by this repeated error year after year and would rather spend money
at a shelter that won't take my money and make me beg for a news letter.
Thanks. I'm in Chicago area and realize this would have to be shipped.
Mary had good prices, so with shipping, I still came out a little ahead
on a case of stuff compared to a store, and Mary made some money.
I just assumed everyone on this list got most of their product from
shelters. Was Mary the only one selling supplies?
