Hi everyone,
Here is another ferret song for your enjoyment.
Cheers,
Mary Cohen
Sung imploringly to "Take Me Out To The Ball Game"
Take me out of my cage please.
I'm all through with my nap.
Give me some raisins and cheerios,
(After that I should probably doze).
Then I'd like to go to the pet shop,
Get a new toy or two.
I am bored with all of my stuff,
I need something new.
Take me down to the beach please.
Let me play in the sand.
Buy me a popsicle? Red, I think.
They don't have it? I'll settle for pink.
Then I'd like to go for a boat ride,
Feel the wind in my fur.
There's a gorgeous jill on that yacht,
Could I please date her?
Take me out to the park please.
Leave my harness at home.
Let me run free, I'm a big boy now.
I can find my way home anyhow.
Then I'd like to play in the sandbox,
Dig a tunnel or two.
I get so bored staying at home,
And that's why I chew!
I am bored with the beach now.
Parks are really passe.
I'm thinking Paris or maybe Rome.
I would love to climb St. Peter's dome.
Then I'd like to sit with the Lamas,
And meditate for a while.
Off to Egypt, say "Hi" to Tut,
And row up the Nile.
I have seen the whole world now.
I have been everywhere.
There is no point in my going on,
Kinda wish I had never been born.
What's that thing you have in your hand there?
My tail's starting to wag!
I have never seen one before,
It's a plastic bag!
