Hello Everyone!
 
My crew and I were at the SOS show in Baltimore on Saturday.  With Shiloh
in "blow coat" stage she did her absolute worst ever--two ninth places in
tiny rings.  Sigh...but she's my beautiful angel anyway.  Amadeus did an
7th and an 8th (in a class of 17, I think) so that was pretty good as far
as I'm concerned.  He's my sweet boy.
 
I want to thank the two honest people who turned in my belongings--my
ferret earring and my WALLET!  Was I ever lucky!  Chris, Clayton and I
drove in from Pittsburgh--leaving at 2:00 am to get to the show at 7:00 am.
My brain wasn't at its best.  While the earring could have happened to
anyone, there was no excuse about the wallet.  I'd forgotten to zip my
fanny pack.  THANK YOU KIND PEOPLE...I LOVE YOU!
 
I won some raffle items I put in for...but donated a bag full of stuff to
the local PFRA out of the winnings as they need the stuff more than I do.
 
I enjoyed talking to ferret acquaintances and making new ones.  It's too
bad I've decided to limit my showing to shows that can be done in a day as
I'm am trying to save up to buy a house for my little family (so it can
expand if ferret math hits).  I'll miss seeing everyone.
 
On the downside...on Saturday evening when we got home I turned my guys
loose to play.  Amadeus made a bee line to a corner he tends to use when he
doesn't feel well and pooped tan seedy poop (there were a total of three
incidences--he left two other similar poopies in his sandbox).  The litter
pan used at the show only had normal poops .  With it showing up then
rather than a couple days later I have to suspect that he was already
coming down w/ whatever it is before we left for the show or it was a
result of stress.  He seemed more tired than Shiloh both Saturday and
Sunday, but this morning he was all over the place and the poop in litter
pans this morning were all normal.  Hopefully if anyone's ferret picked
this up from us it will be as of short duration as Amadeus's case..
 
Congratulations to everyone whose ferrets won or did better than they'd
ever done before!
