Hi all:

I was a day or 2 behind on reading my FML & I just read the thought
provoking poem about the shelter. I am going through a very emotional
period right now with illness on my hubby and my parents. My fuzzies bring
me sooo much pleasure <G> I can't imagine who'd "throw away" their friend
like that. All 4 of my ferts so far have been older and 3 of them were
given away directly to me by previous owners. The last one, no. 4, was a
severe biter who'd never get a home through the pet store. Holly has since
passed over the Bridge, but I know she was loved by my family in her last
days. So, in retrospect, I DO know who throws their ferts away and I also
know who takes all in that she can afford to take both financially and to
give love to. I just wish I could give them all a home. Thanks from me to
all the shelter workers and owners with the compassionate hearts

Dooks,
Michael, Rocky, & Snow
Christa (their human) <G>
In loving memory of Holly
