As Bill Killian explained, the term demigigas has been used to refer to a
line of ferrets descended from and sharing some of the traits of a single
ferret named Demi Gigas. Doug McKay, as the breeder and owner of this
ferret is free to name him whatever he pleases. It need make no sense to
us or to Mr. Lipinski. By the same token, Mr. Lipinski is free to name
his ferrets however he chooses, it need make no sense to anyone else.

As to ECE, no less an authority than the highly respected pathologist Dr.
Bruce Williams believes, on the basis of his own research, that ECE is
indeed a corona-type virus. Since Mr. Lipinski claims he has never
experienced ECE, I would like to know on what evidence he bases his belief
that only he understands the true nature of this disease.
