I have a lap ferret, Martin, who has always been quite accomodating and
willing to lick faces and foreheads (and esp. eyes). Recently I decided,
out of curiosity, exactly *how long* is he willing to lick my face? Well
around the 6-7 minute mark I started to worry about whether he was
physically removing a layer of my skin. He never did stop on his own, I
just decided the experiment had gone on too long. Could this just be his
own personality, or do you think maybe he was weaned too early? He always
acts like he is desperately eager to lick faces. I've only had him since
he was one years old, and he's always been like this. The very first
minute I met him he licked my face.
