I notice that, while you had a lot to say on the subject, you didn't bother
to write a haiku of your own.  So much easier to critisize others, eh?  Oh,
and the kanji quote is taken from a book called 'Kanji picto-graphics,'
which illustrates the elements from which kanji are built, and their
origins.
 
My second, probably final, ferret haiku:
 
Leaves fall and twist.
Like them, I dance and turn.
I am the war weasel!

When making a dugout by fire, you're supposed to use a /slow/ fire, not a
blowtorch!  If you burn too fast, you risk weakening and cracking the
wood, and your dugout won't be seaworthy.
