[log in to unmask], 7 Oct 1999 22:05:26 -0400562_- Luperon is a very good option for adrenal diasese in ferrets It is the
best medical treatment we have available. True it does not provide a cure
to the disease. However it is the best option for ferrets that are not
good canidates for surgery (ie those with insulinomas, ect) Also it is a

[log in to unmask], 28 Aug 1999 11:54:11 +0100606_- Ferrets in the UK originally all lived outside in hutches and Barns and
Sheds, mainly with Gamekeepers, being fed fresh Rabbit, Bread, Milk, or
knuckles of meat from kills of the Gamekeeper.
Now they are an addition to pets in the home as in America although some
are still kept in Hutches and Avairy type constructions in residential
gardens, coming out for walks and play indoors and out....not fogetting
cuddles. They are still very much used in Rabbit control where Farmers
have a problem with crop destruction, this is very much the tradition of
the English Ferret. [...]51_28Aug199911:54:

wondered what people fed their ferret's before the kibble food came along?
I know some fed cat food, but was this all they fed?

[log in to unmask], 26 Aug 1999 21:07:32 PDT468_- Several people have asked about building cages recently, since i just
finished one that is 48" H x 48" L x 28" W and I thought these tips might
help.
1. Wire can be found in the Northeast at Agway stores. It can be found at
most feed store in other parts of the country. 1" x 2" galvanized after
weld wire run about $80.00 for a 4' x 50' roll. This is plenty and you
might want to split the cost between 2 people. [...]37_26Aug199921:07:
