Thanks for the responses.  The Bio Spot is in the trash.  Maybe we should
let Ferret Magazine know about this; that's where I saw it advertised for
ferrets.
 
I switched the sandbox into a ricebox tonight and Toeby was having a great
time snorkling through it.  When he came up for air, Simon and Minnie (the
dog reps of the zoo) had their heads in the box eating the rice.  Not to be
outdone, Toeby started chowing down the rice too.  Had to put the box away
before they all blew up.  Buffy was busy trying to fit a potato in her
hidey-hole.  They all had a great time and made a huge mess while I cooked
dinner.  (I don't remember letting my human kids spread rice and pieces of
potato all over the floor!  They got cheated.)
