We take our ferrets camping all the time.  We take their cage with us and
while we are in the camp we put the cage outside with us and then when we
go to bed, we put them in the back of the truck and cover with a balnket to
keep warm, then we lock the back of the truck.  We take them for walks and
everyone just loves to see them and ask all kind of questions and will want
to pet them.  Our ferrets knows when we are going camping and they also
know where our campsite is, they enjoy the walks in the forest and just
walking any where too.
