Ferret Wise Shelter will participate in the 1999 Pet Adopt a thon by
holding an "Open House" on Saturday May 1 from 11AM-2 PM.  Shelter
volunteers will be on hand to answer questions regarding the care and
maintenance of the domesticated ferret.  Ferret publications will be
available as well as an assortment of ferret supplies, bedding items and
Totally Ferret food.
 
Those wishing to proceed with a ferret adoption are reminded that
pre screening is a requirement.  To obtain applications for pre screening
