Chuck's ferret Bandit needed surgery, but Chuck was unemployed.  Calling a
local shelter for advice on what to do, Chuck found the love and giving of
the ferret community.  In his gratitude for the help, he received, despite
the fact he lost Bandit after the surgery.  He called the local newspaper
and told them.
