aNSWERS to stuff:::
1.  Possible pet sitter in Chicago area is Janet , a vet tech, at Midwest
Bird and Exotic Animal Hospital.  I believe she is major founder of Greater
Chicago Ferret Assoc,.  Only have work #:1-798-344-8166.  Never used her.
But great credentials, and probably could have you call happy clients.is
certainly knowledgable
 
2. Ultra sound in Chicago area for fert?  Niles Animal Hospital.
1-847-647-9325.  Dont know about doing surgery there.  A vet that may have
been there-uhh- I cant remember-- told me he removed both adrenal glands
100% of time!!!.  But can have ultra-sound there.  Ask at Midwest Bird and
Exotic if they do, or know of anyone..
 
3.Bladder infections?  Ferts get them.  Probably need vet for x-rays.  My
vet wanted them for Wolf to see if urinary tract was o.k., I believe he
said.
 
4. For blockage,?  use 1 inch of the lubricant 3 times a day.  If fert is
lethargic-get his butt to good vet.
 
5. Lots of vet questions lately.  For $30. on Visa or Mastercard, have
serious medical questions ready and call Dr. Weiss at 1-800-449-4460.
What's $30.00?  We spend $150. on a vet for nothing.just dont abuse his
time when calling.
 
6. Dr. Karen on FAIML just wrote in to let us know that she is using
Tagamet or sucralfate for upset stomach- not pepsid.  And Lotrimin is
better for diarrhea than kaopectate.
