Hi folks:
"AD" means: "in the year of our Lord" or "anno Domini", not "after death".
It's a common misconception. :0)
I have never met Dr. Kawasaki but have talked with him on the phone. He
has helped me in the past before I found Dr. Packheiser. Dr. K has always
addressed my questions in a polite and kind manner. He even said that if
my vet would call him, he would TALK HIM THROUGH THE SURGERY WHILE ON THE
PHONE! I thought that was very thoughtful of him. He said if I couldn't
convince my vet to do the surgery, to bring my ferret to him and he would
do it. I called him another time with a question and he was nice enough
to take the call while he was in surgery. He used his speaker phone. It
seems to me he would be a great vet to use. Just my humble opinion.
We are still in a holding pattern around here in the euthanasia debate.
Freddie actually ate some mush last night and then stole a teddy bear to
hide. :0) PeeWee is holding his own. Andy is NOT well. I think he wants
to go. I am the one without courage to say goodby. I've had him six and
a half years. He is the second ferret that we got. We've had ferrets for
10 1/2 yrs. I don't want to let him go. He doesn't seem to be suffering.
His coat is beautiful but he weighs very little now-down from about three
pounds. :0(
I'll let you know when.
Tequita and Larry
Andy- no thank you, I don't want any food.
PeeWee- Yum! I love Timmy's Tonic!
Freddie- Hey, this mush is pretty good tonight.
Cindy- Why are they getting all the good stuff? Reach, stretch, lick lick.
Gidget- I'm too cute. Don't you think so daddy?
Harvey- Whoopee! Things to steal, chase, knock over. etc.
