Just a clarification.
If you are talking about the GCFA show in October, ALL ferrets that come
into the show hall must have proof of canine distemper vaccination, even
those "just visiting." The vets may leave early, but the people at the
entrance desk can check paperwork. This is for their protection, as well
as the other ferrets.
