Just a question: wasn't there a comment sometime back that ferrets can get
giardia from lapping aquarium water some times?

Steve says that Metro Pets is on MSG Metro on either Tues or Thurs night
and then is repeated a LOT, so now you know which channel and what show
to ask your stations to carry <G>. (Steve remembers things dealing with
numbers and anything time related better than I ever will. Heck, if he's
tired enough he can just plain tell you the time to within two minutes --
can't always tell you if it's day or night when he's exhausted but time
he can do.) Anyway, you MUST see the ferret Splash and all the critters
he interacts with -- usually 15 to 20 OUT and INTERACTING at anytime: a
mixture of birds, dogs, cats, rabbits, caviomorph rodents, prairie dogs,
etc. -- NOT kidding, it's real "lion laying down with the lamb stuff" --
al active, all happy, all calm, no one hurt, no one scared. Herps and
small animals are in cages and aquaria, though, but chinchilla size and up
are out. (The chinchillas are more playful than the ferret is typically on
the show; amazing!)
