Hi everyone,

Been swamped at work again so haven't posted in awhile, but i'm reading the
FML daily! I just have to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my little sweetheart-of-a-
girl, & very special ferret Jasmine, who turned 3 years old on March 7th.
She is my first baby, and the reason I quickly got ferret math (and now
have 4 darling fuzzies). She really is an amazingly wonderful furchild.

I've also been subscribing to the FML for just over 3 years now, myself -
can't believe how time flies. The information everyone shares here is
fantastic (as is the moderator too!) :-) Anyway, I would like to share a
few cheap, very entertaining fuzzbutt games and to hear what you all do to
keep your babies happy, dooking, and wardancing too.

The first is Tag, which Jasmine is the queen of. It's a great bonding
experience for the two of us. I get her going by shuffling my feet fast on
the floor -- like i'm going to run away but in a teasing way-- to cue her,
then I take off running with Jasmine dooking, hot in pursuit! I usually
end up in my bedroom, leaping onto the bed with Jas flying up in the air to
"catch" my feet. She loves it.

The next is a favorite with all four of my girls, and there's two
variations. All you need is a blanket, floorspace and a bed! I drag my
fuzzies around on the blanket on the floor - they LOVE this and just go
crazy (see recent Modern Ferret issue with photos of Mary and Eric's
fuzzies getting to play "blanket drag" and you'll see). The variation to
this is to place the blanket halfway on your bed, with the other half
trailing off the back, you holding onto the ends. Gently toss furkids onto
the bed to get them excited, watch them dash toward you, and leap onto the
blanket while you lightly toss and/or roll them up and down on the blanket.
Great fuzzy fun!

The third 'most favorite' game is anything to do with an empty box or
tubing/tunnels, and preferably lots of crinkly paper or other ferret-safe
material they can romp in and investigate inside. Insert fuzzies into the
box, and watch the hilarity begin. My girls especially love diving in and
out of tubing (the best, cheapest one I ever got was an old, thin wrapping
paper tube that I unraveled a bit and made *just* the right size for the
kids. Daisy, especially, has perfected the art of running at warp speed
and diving headfirst into this tube, squeeking all the way, then flying out
of the other end with her fur & tail poofed out to the max). Clear dryer
hose and Ferretrail Funnels also work great but those cost $$.

I could keep on going but my post is already getting too long as it is
(sorry)! but would love to hear what games you all play with your fuzzies
too! :)

Hugs to the furkids of the world everywhere...
