Thanks for your concern.  I'm assuming all is fine with the ferrets.  Like
a wrote the SPCA is to fix and descent them - as far as I know they are
still up for adoption for $55 each once they are recovered.
 
Most SPCA's personal that I have dealt with are truly there for the animals
and it seems from the employee that I talked to after I sent the mail, that
the SPCA in this case is the same.  They are doing what they can to help
the ferrets, it seemed that not much was known about what ferrets where
about when they first arrived but they've gotten information all is fine
at this time.
