I have 2 male ferrets Dominick and Winston. Winston is a new addition and
also deaf. They both needed a playmate, but I have noticed that Dom will
scratch the ground when he is nose to nose with Winston. Does anyone know
what this means?? Winston, was kept in a rabbit hutch alone outside, for
who knows how long. He is about 1 yr. the same age as Dom. I know this
is going to be a long slow row to hoe and I am in it for the long run.
Could it be that Dom is announcing his dominance and strutting so to speak?
