OK, I went to Mississippi for about two weeks. I, sadly, couldn't take
Pogo with me, so I had her stay with my most trusted friend. When I got
back I immediately picked her up. She seemed kind of small at first
glance, but I figured maybe she just shed, or maybe it's just because I
haven't seen her for awhile.

But when she stretched out across the shelf in her cage, I realized it:
Pogo was longer than she is now. No joke. Her fur is also coarser than
before. She is also doing things that I taught Pogo not to do i.e. dig
in food/litterbox, bite at cage door, etc.. Also her fur color- She had
darker fur up to just past her haunches, where as now, it's just the legs
that are a darker brown. They said she hadn't shed while I was gone. I
put some new Kaytee in her cage, and right away she ate it. Pogo always
refused new foods before.

So something freaky is going on here, or I'm just losing it. She'a
shorter, skinnier, her skin on her tummy between her hind-legs is pink,
her nose is pinker than before, and her fur is different, and she is
showing a different personality to me. She looks like she's only about 2
mo. and Pogo's 5 mo. and was alot heavier but not fat. Now, only one
wardance, and that was when I stepped on a plastic bag, and Pogo always
wardanced as soon as she was out of her cage.

Not to mention she has orangish poop and rubs her jaw, neck and tummy
against the floor about every 20 seconds. Maybe that's just dry skin,
but I dunno.

Either way, something isn't right. It's just too strange. I'm starting
to wonder if something didn't happen to Pogo and they tried to get another
that looked like her so I wouldn't notice.

Another thing, when I got back she didn't understand the
water-bottle-discipline (just a light mist worked). Maybe I've
just had a brain fart, but this is really odd.
