Hello everyone,

I'm hoping someone out there can help me with our latest dilema. About 3
months ago we rescued a little boy and his sister from Animal Control.
They were going to have the male put down, because he was having severe
diarrhea and wasn't doing very well, they didn't think he would make it
thru the week. He really was in bad shape. He was turned into them along
with a little sable girl, by someone who found them wandering around their
neighborhood. The girl is fine and none the worse for her adventures, but
the male had obvious adrenal problems, which have now been taken care of
and his hair is starting to regrow. But our dilema that he seems to have
an allergy to something. At least that is what we think the problem is.
Every now and then his poor little head will swell and look as round as can
be. The first time it happened we rushed him into the vet they thought it
was some kind of infection, so we treated it as such. But obviously that
wasn't the problem. Sometimes even his front and rear paw on his left side
will swell as well. We have played around with the detergent, thinking
that might have been it, but no luck, we thought maybe somesort of food
allergy, so the vet gave us a hypoallergentic food for him, which he hated,
and still no luck. There doesn't seem to be any sort of pattern to the
swelling and everytime we think there might be one forming he decides to
swell again and break the pattern. So we are at a loss. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
