How long can it take for a ferret's stools to return to normal after a
recovery from ECE/Shelter Shock? I have a 5 1/2 year old sable female
(named Fuzzy) who seems to have contracted one of the two from a family
addition (albino female kit named Cotton). Fuzzy has finally started to
regain the weight loss, and is more active and playful than before she got
sick, but she still has rather soft, seedy looking stools. The only
medication she is on, now, is .5cc Pediapred twice daily (probably for
the rest of her life), and .25cc of Pepcid (until it runs out).

Thanks!

Craig
