PLEASE RESPOND!
Is there anyone out there that has a ferret that gets reoccuring vaginitis?
I have one female that keeps getting vaginitis (an occasional pus-like
discharge from the vaginal area) We have treated it with antibiotics
(don't recall the kind the vet prescribes but it is supposed to be used
for stuff like that) but it seems to go away and then on down the road
it occurs again. There is no swelling of the vulva. Has anyone else
experienced this type of thing? What could be causing it to reoccur
periodically (like every few months)?? What could be causing the ferret
to be so susceptible to it? Is there anything that could be done to
prevent it?

Also, this particular ferret is suspected to have allergies. I would like
to hear from ferrets with allergies too.
