I've been away and am catching up with my FMLs, and this little
gripe-session has me totally floored.

What is the big deal? I think it's pretty clear to anyone who reads the
FML for more than a day or two that Ed has a very playful nature.
Sometimes his posts are meant to be humorous, sometimes informative, often
they are both. If you choose to ignore his posts because for some reason
his humor offends you, that's your choice. But remember, in life, as in
the plays of Shakespeare, the words of an apparent 'fool' often contain
valuable wisdom.
Don't throw out the baby with the bathwater....
