if lactose is the problem, then we have it too.  (the problem, not a
warehouse full of lactose.)  humans who are lactose intolerant can buy
(depending on where you are in and out of the country) lactose free milk,
ice cream, drops that you add to milk/cream/etc.
 
two brand names i know of are lactaid and dairy ease.  one thing to be
careful with is that not all of each product is reduced the same.  some
will be 70% reduced and others 100% reduced.  check each label.
 
my kids love my tea (with lactaid) and have never had a problem drinking
it.  i tend to worry more about sugar content in ice creams and kiddles
divebombing my fruit loops.
 
is there anything else bad in there that i should worry about?
