I see alot of horse & ferret owners post. Interesting combination. Have
you ever introduced your ferrets to your horse? I stopped at the barn one
afternoon on the way home from the vet with my Silver mitt (hell child)
Rascal. After letting him tunnel through the clean-horse free stall for a
while (he loved that) I decided to let him meet my mare. I was curious how
he would react to something that big that he had never seen before. I put
him on the ground in the paddock -- he saw the horses and walked right
over. Absolutely no fear! My mare put her head down and he sat up on his
hind legs and gave her a kiss! That would have been quite the picture.
Its funny how "non-ferret" people say things like. "Oh I have a big dog,
your ferret will probably be scared. "Well sorry but if they are not
afraid of a horse what makes you think your dog will be intimidating!

Oh and Ed -- this non-large animal fearing animal is a "wimpy MF ferret"!
