Hi,
i just wanted to say "THANKYOU" to everyone who said prayers and had good
thoughts for "LUCKY"!!!!!
 
he appears to be doing great...
 
his hair has grown back on his tail but then he lost a little at the base
and now it is growing back again...
 
i hope thats normal...
 
Lucky is just one of the coolest ferrets we have (well all the ferrets are
special too)...
 
he was our first rescue (him and his mate)...nobody wanted them and nobody
wanted to adopt them...SO WE KEPT THEM!!!
 
i am very greatful for the time we have with him BUT I DO PRAY THAT HE WILL
BE HERE WITH US FOR MANY YEARS TO COME!!!
 
I am VERY SORRY that i didnt write sooner...we had an incident in our
family and then my computer had an accident....
 
on a different note there is something that i want "EVERYONE" to know
about... BHT BHA and ETHOXYQUIN are preservatives that are added to our
pets food and ours...the exception being ethyoxyquin" (its not allowed in
human food but is allowed in pet food)...
 
THESE preservatives DO CAUSE CANCER!!!!
 
BHA & BHT are in stuff like stove top stuffing and some packages of jello
and koolaide and alot of cereal has it too...
 
MAZZURI food has "ETHYOXQUIN" in it...no wonder ferrets get sick with it...
alot of food companies use 4D animals (animals euthanized, animals that
had cancer, SPCA animals and etc.) that kind of stuff does not process out
of the food...IT STAYS IN IT...so if a dog had cancer guess what?  ITS NOW
IN THE FOOD!!!
 
all i ask is "READ THE LABELS" before you feed it to your pets and
yourself....
 
MARSHALLS which i used to love is now using BHA....so i dont use it
anymore... BIL-JAC uses BHA...if it wasnt for that i would be using it!!!
 
you know the point is our animals have enough problems with cancer and
other diseases WE DONT NEED this kind of crap in their food or ours...
 
Sheppard & Green advertise that they DONT use BHT, BHA or ETHYOXQUIN...
 
Kaytee Ferret Food uses BHT and BHA...
 
these are just to name a few as i discover more and get a list together i
will let all of you know...i am not coming down on any company but why as
ANIMAL LOVERS would we want to use something that can/does give our pets
cancer and other diseases???
 
so just read your labels and use your own judgements..i hope that i have
given some advice that will make a difference to someone...
 
AGAIN THANKYOU for the prayers and kind thoughts that you said for
"Lucky"....his nickname is "LUCKY BUTT" , cause he is lucky!!! :-)
