Because I have a low tolerance for animals crapping in my living quarters
I should "reconsider" my choice of pet? That's harsh and judgemental.
I never said I couldn't stand cleaning up ferret poop. I've been a ferret
owner for more than 11 years. I've trained four ferrets to be 99%-100%
accurate in their cages and a fifth who has only an occasional lapse.
Brickbat, however, has stumped me for nine months, defeating every method
that worked with the others.
If my first ferret had been 60%, as you say yours are, I never would have
adopted a second. An animal that craps all over your house with no hope of
being trained otherwise isn't the kind of animal one should have as a pet.
The next time you have nothing constructive to offer it would be better to
withhold comment instead of telling someone you don't know personally to
get rid of their ferrets.
