I am definately allergic to my ferrets.  I notice it most when their
shedding and when I used to bathe them.  My husband bathes them now and he
doesn t do it very often.  You may have seen posts before on bathing...they
don t smell as strong if you don t bathe them frequently.
 
We have four ferrets and won t get any more because every time we added one
my allergies flared up and 4 is my limit.
 
I m not optimistic about allergy shots.  I am extremely allergic to cats
and other things.  I tried the shots, but they didn t work for me.
 
There are very good prescriptions out there for allergies now.  I rarely
have problems with the fuzzies.  Mail me privately if you have any more
