I've seen many posts regarding the Ferret checks offered by Styles. I just
wanted to let everyone know, if you're planning on ordering them, order
them at least 2 months before you actually need them. I'm sure the checks
will be wonderful WHEN I actually receive them - but I'm still waiting!

My experience with Styles: I called the Styles company to see if I could
fax my order since I was paying by credit card and let them know my urgency
of needing checks immediately. They said they no longer accepted faxed
orders. I understood, and mailed my order that day. I waited over a week
to call and see what the status of my order was. They said they hadn't
even received my order. I questioned this, and then was told that their
California office had closed and that all mail sent there was re-routed to
Maryland. Which now meant I had to wait for it to arrive in Maryland -
why they didn't tell me this when I called the first time I don't know. I
again waited a sufficient amount of time for Maryland to receive my order
and called again to check on the status of my order. They said they'd
received the order on Monday and since I'd paid for express return mail, I
should recieve my checks on Thursday. She was putting an in-house rush on
my order. The following Monday, I still hadn't received my order. I
called again. She said they were still in the process of being printed
and could not offer any ETA. I'm still waiting for my checks. In the
meantime, I'm having to purchase money orders to pay my bills.

Just thought you should know so you can plan ahead with your order to
Styles.
