Hi all. I have a question. Hotspur (the baby at 7 months) has this wierd
habit. the boys have a big heavy crock for their water. This comes from
Fidget dumping anything not extremely heavy and him not seeming to like the
water bottle. anyway, whenever Hotspur goes to get a drink, he will put
one paw up on one side of the dish and with the other paw, dig at the top
of the dish before he will get a drink. Poor Fidget was drinking and
Hotspur decided he needed a drink and started digging on Fidget's head.
Fidget wasn't thrilled about this.
Hotspur does this no matter how much water is inthe bowl. You shoudl see
the look of shock on his face when the water is almost to the lip of the
bowl and he digs, misses and puts his paw in the water.
He responds to visual signals from me, so I dont' think his vision is
impaired as far as actual seeing goes. I was wondering if maybe his
depth perception was out of whack? or if he's just being a ferret?
cheers
chris, Fidget and Hotspur
