Just a thought about your little fuzzy who won't eat: why don't you try
grinding some of the food she does like (the cruddy stuff) in a coffee
grinder, and sprinkling it over the "good food"?  Perhaps the smell/taste
of the stuff she likes will convince her to eat the whole thing without
fuss.
