i was calmly minding my own business...getting things packed...giving the
landlady the rent...when out come my 4 little nosey-butts...:)
 
and she says...her sister's kid is trying to find a good home for HIS
ferret...cage and all...(free)...did i know anyone who was interested...
DID I KNOW ANYONE WHO WAS INTERESTED!!!!!
 
LOL!!!!...i looked over at tommy...didn't give him a chance to say
anything...:)...and kinda stuttered... uh..yeah...as a matter of fact i
do!!!...she did not have many details...so she called her sister...then
called us back and gave us her sis's #...and i called her...SHE didn't know
much about the ferret, except he was 4 yrs old...I knew from the first that
i wanted him...w/o even talking to her...poor dear didn't even know if he
was a he or a she!!!so i asked if we could come right over and get him...
 
They lived 3 hours away...and mind you, we are supposed to be packing to
move...and this was tommy's ONLY day off before the move...:)...needless to
say...we drove up there to get him...tommy is the best!!!!...we had no idea
what we were gonna find...no idea what he looked like...what kind of shape
he was in....boy were we surprised!!!...
 
he is a beautiful, healthy...STERLING SILVER!!!!...the most gotgeous ferret
i have ever seen!!!!(i had only ever seen a Sterling Silver in books
before!!!)...he is now running around playing with my 4...having a ball...i
let him sleep in his own cage last night...so he would be a little less
traumatized..feel a little more secure...put it right next to my guys'
cage, though...then let them all out to play this morn... hmmmm...guess i
need to go add him to my page!!!!  :)
 
oh!...he was (and is) named..."Feivel"...i just call him "Fives"...
