If anyone has experience with either of these in ferrets would you e-mail
me the info. My 4 1/2 year old male went in today to get a mast cell tumor
removed and the vet looked at his eye because it was cloudy and said that
he had a luxated lens and probably glaucoma. What are the options for
ferrets? We are going to talk to the opthamologist at VA-MD vet school
(where I go to school) to see if he would be interested in doing a surgery
on him. I don't know what the best way is to handle glaucoma in ferrets.
Do we manage it medically or do surgery? If we do nothing, what will
happen? I want to do the best thing for my baby, and I don't know if
another surgery is the best thing for him. Thanks for any onfo in advance.
