Hi all. I was reading a post on the FML about a problem with fuzzies
getting in couches. I wanted to tell you about the potential danger that
lurks there.

My daughter was chasing after Maxwell, My little fuzzbutt, who took a
liking to her barber doll and was steeling it and dragging it off under the
recliner chair. In an effort to get better access to Max, my daughter
lifted the foot of the recliner up. There were zig zagy springs under
there and Max got his head stuck in one. He was completely stuck!!!!!

In an effort to free Max, I thought putting the foot of the chair down
would release him. I don't know what I was thinking. I almost decapitated
the poor thing. He winced and I stopped immediatley. Needless to say, I
ran out the front door to neighbors to get their help. It was that or 911.

Fortunatley they were able to free him. I have to say it took a good 15
minutes to get Max out of there. I thought he was gone. He came out alive
and with a small hole under his chin but he was okay.

To those of you with recliner chairs please be aware of this danger. As
for your couches, I don't know if there are springs under there but they
could very well get stuck in them.

The solution I had for keeping Max from this danger was to keep him away
from the chair all together. I almost lost him and I wasn't going to let
him near that chair again.

I just wanted to let you know of the potential danger with your
couches/recliners in case you were'nt aware there were any. I found out
the hard way.

Max, Panda, Ling Ling, and Buttercup send dooks :-)
