Well, you might get your ferret a "self-propelled" toy/playmate... a
kitten! :) Your ferret won't eat it, a kitten is usually acceptable to
most others, a kitten will eat the same food (if you provide IAMS kitten
formula, for instance) and might even use the same litter box (provided
you have one outside of the ferret cage)! :)
