I wanted to share my success story, since i have been reading the FML a lot
of people have talked about the problems they have when they bring a new
fuzzie home. Macker my 3 year old has never played with other ferrets
before. I did try and introduce him to another grown male before but they
tried to kill each other every time they met. This weekend i brought home
a 9 week albino female. At first Macker didn't know what to make of her,
she pretty much ignored him and went exploring and he followed nudging her
from time to time...In no time at all they were playing around the place,
every so often Macker would grab Casper's ears which she obviously didn't
care for, so i sprayed some bitter apple on them and he soon left her ears
alone. Casper is a biter but i now put bitter apple on my hands before
holding her and after the first bite she stops, so hopefully soon she will
stop altogether. They are doing great, they are sleeping together in the
cage and playing, and only after one night...

Hope other people have as much luck as we did...

Christine, Macker and the cotton ball Casper.....
