Prejudice knows no bounds!  This is my first post of FML so to begin....
Hello to all you fuzzie lovers!  I work in Pastoral Ministry for a Catholic
Church and one of the highlights of each year is our "Blessing of the
Animals" on the feast day of St.  Francis.  People look forward to seeing
my ferrets!  Many of the children especially love it when they get the
chance to hold a leash and follow the ferret around.  I have found the
children to be gentle and loving with my babies and THRILLED to hold them.
Of course, there are a few die hard people who can't stand them because
they "look like rats".  I don't think we can change anyone's mind who is
happy with their decision to dislike ferrets but I can say for sure that
if my fuzzies did not come for their blessing many people would be sorely
disappointed!!!
