I have posted a couple of times but I am usually just a lurker. I am the
proud ferret mom of Pasha and Yoshi, 6 GP's and four cats. I have only been
a ferret mom for two months and the little critters have stolen my heart.
My worry is about my Pasha.

Pasha is a male MF ferret. He is a the sweetest little red eyed albino in
the world. He is not kissy but cuddly with a very sweet disposition. When
I look at him he reminds me of a little ferret angel. He seems so tired
compared to my Yoshi, the female. Sometimes he plays hard for an hour or
so but frequently he gets tired and curls in my arms and goes to sleep
after just a few minutes. He eats, drinks and his poops look normal. He
war dances and plays. He just seemed to have low energy. I have an
appointment with the vet for both of them Tuesday evening. I think both of
them may have ear mites. Pasha crys if I try to do anything with his ears.
It is the soonest I could get in. This is a new vet. My current vet has
no experience with Ferrets. My question for the wonderful participants on
this helpful list is should I have Pasha tested for anything in particular.
Does anyone else out there have a low energy ferret and am I just being
paranoid? Thanks so much and hugs and prayers to all the sick ferrets and
worried moms. Victoria
