I just got my first ferret last week. And I love him dearly. We go
everywhere together. He gets a lot of time out of his cage. He's 8 months
old. I live in a small apartment, so the cage is in the room I sleep in. I
hear the little guy trying to get out at around 5 or 6 each morning. I will
not go over there, because I don't want him to get his way, he then settles
down in about 40- 60 minutes of so, but what can I do to make him sleep
longer? Or to entertain him in his cage. I have a ball in there, but he's
more interested in scratch the floor or biting the door to get out. Do
ferrets use wheels? Like a hedgehog or hamster? Any hints would be
helpful.

Thank you,

Jill
